Today I explored the vast Canadian wilderness, scavenged for food and clothes and fought off a few wolves in the meantime.
So I started by traveling for a bit from the starter cabin and eventually, I reached a lakeside cabin.
Camp Office
I searched it for a bit and then ate and slept and then I was off again. After about 5 min I found a dam.
Carter Hydro Dam
I passed through it and completely scavenged the whole building. After I left the dam, I crossed a frozen river in a ravine and fought off a wolf. I managed to scare him away using a flare and then kept moving forward.
I eventually came across a cave and I went inside. I set up a fire inside, cooked and ate some food, and then slept for a few hours. The cave turned out to be pretty short and only took me a few minutes to get out. After I got out, I arrived at a new area of the map called "Pleasant Valley". I was getting closer to Timberwolf Mountain according to the map which means I'm on the right track. It was very cold outside right now. About -29 degrees. And I started developing hypothermia. I had to find some shelter soon so that I don't die from hypothermia. I traversed for about 10 minutes and found a place called "Draft Dodgers Cabin"
Draft Dodgers Cabin
This small cabin practically saved my life as it was decently warm inside. (about 8 degrees) and I could get rid of my risk of hypothermia and rest. There wasn't a fireplace or anything but it was pretty warm inside so I didn't have to worry.
After I was decently recovered I went back outside and traveled more for a bit. By the looks of it on the map, pleasant valley is a very open area and Timberwolf Mountain is to the top-right of it. But the thing is, I don't know which way is top-right my only hope is to go in one direction and hope I'll eventually get there.
I thought of an idea. I assume that timberwolf mountain would be pretty big so if I went in the center of pleasant valley maybe I could see it since it would stand out to the other mountains. So that's what I did. I started walking towards the center of pleasant valley and eventually, I came across a massive cabin.
Pleasant Valley Farmstead
I went in there and looted it all. It had a lot of stuff. Enough to last probably a few days.
And that's pretty much where I left off.

My survival tips for this challenge are to pretty much keep moving and never stay in one place too long. Because you'll eventually starve and you get hungry and thirsty VERY quickly.
Also, you can use the charcoal to sketch your map. Which is very useful if you don't know where you are.
